Camping Trips & Rain!
Well we took Isabella on her first camping trip. I was a little worried that it would mess with her schedule. (she is sleeping from8:30pm to about 5:00am) However to our great surprise she slept through the night while we were camping also. We went up with the Brewers and had a blast! We convinced Mom to come up and join us also. The weather was beautiful and we just relaxed all Friday and Saturday. However Saturday night it started to rain. It rained all night and when we woke in the morning it looked like we were sleeping on a water bed. So we had to clean the tent out and hang all our stuff up under the huge canopy where it dried out on Sunday. So we spent most of Sunday reading articles from the Ensign and the Relief Society manual because things were too wet to go to church. I must say it was much more interesting than regular Sunday School. hehe The rain cleared up Sunday night and we were able to have Dutch Oven hobo dinners and peach cobbler. Sunday night we all slept in the Brewer's 5th Wheel and were dry and warm. Over all it was a great time and Isabella loved it! Hope you all had a great Labor Day weekend!

Quick Update
Ok, so there are 2 things I have no talent for and blogging is one of them (scrap booking is the other) so I will try to keep at least a quick 5 minute update every once in a while but don't take it personally if I fall behind!
Cody is talking up a storm and has a wild imagination. He is still Dora's #1 fan and the invisible swiper swipes EVERYTHING in our house. I am starting him in a preschool through the city in a couple of weeks that will meet a few days a week for a couple hours. He is excited for school and I am excited for some 1 on 1 time with Whitney. We also signed him up for soccer this fall and we all are looking forward to it! He is a reader and we constantly are at the library getting new books.
Whitney is Miss attitude and insists on doing EVERYTHING herself lately. This makes getting out of the house in under 2 hours a very challenging task or an all out brawl. She too is talking sooo much and almost completely understandable. I took just her for a walk the other day and she did not stop talking or singing the whole hour. She has learned a new dance that looks something like what the football players do after a touchd0wn. It is a hit around our house and I think it will be the next dance craze.
Chet is now a 2nd year and the schedule has eased up a little. That time was quickly taken when he was called as the ward mission leader. It is a busy calling and he is a little overwhelmed with what it entails but he is doing great. Right off the bat he has had 2 baptisms. He has tried to get more exercise but sleep deprivation is slowly robbing him of his workout time.
I just got back from girl's camp at Camp Zion on Mount Lemmon. It was a lot of fun but a new experience working with the youth. I now know the next 4000 weaknesses that I can begin working on so that I can handle my teenagers when I get to that stage. The leaders and girls I worked with were awesome and overall it was a great experience. I am busy with several stake and ward callings and I just had a meeting the other day to start volunteer teaching life and health skills at homeless shelters/prisons once a month starting in a few weeks. I am still running every day and have the starts of another injury but if I can stave that off, I want to get a sprint triathlon in this fall (maybe even with my hubby too).
With the slightly cooler weather we have been out hiking and stuff and in 2 weeks when Chet has vacation we are going to take a trip to New Mexico. It looks like there is some cool stuff and we are excited.
(5 minutes 20 seconds, pretty good huh??)
Love you all!

job hunting
I am currently on the hunt for a new job. Compass Bank has contacted me so I am going to follow that up. I have to find a job that pays more and gives me the opportunity to expand my horizons and give me a better chance at a future that I want. What I would love to do is work for a bank or something similar where I can transfer out-of-state. I want to be able to get out on my own and be able to prove to people that I can find me and be able to experience things for myself with out hanging on what other people have done. I guess the main thing is that I want to experience life as me.

Keeping in Touch
Alright now that we have a Blog we can consider our family cool and up-to-date with the "Blogging World." haha not that any of us really care about that, but I thought it would be fun to have a place to go to see recent pictures and the goings on of the family. If you aren't sure how to use this "monster" (as grandpa griner would say) give me a call, because it is super easy. I look forward to reading about your busy lives.
